FOPPE provided geotechnical investigation & design recommendations and construction materials testing for St. Xavier High School's new Athletic Complex that includes football and track & field facilities and a new multi-purpose building.
FOPPE provided the field geotechnical exploration, laboratory soils analyses, and design report on time and within budget. Recommendations were forwarded which were intended to allow the project designers to weigh the advantages of several alternate foundation design approaches during the preliminary planning phases. Although the project was independent in nature, a new St. Xavier High School Athletic Facility project was concurrently being performed by FOPPE for another client. Therefore, consideration was given to the cost effective development of each site, relative to mass earthwork and foundation construction.
The project was completed during academic sessions and after school without disruption to either school or after school activities (football and band). |
