In April of 2003 The Foppe Technical Group was named as Technical Service Provider to the New Dayton Public School Career Academy. This facility will be located on Washington Streets and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard adjacent to The Miami River and Interstate 75. This new facility will be a modern blend of state of the art school facility with athletic fields on a beautiful site over looking the Miami River, in clear view of the Dayton skyline.

Services that Foppe will provide include Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Services. Much of the proposed site is currently occupied by commercial and industrial facilities. Environmental Management of the facility location included asbestos identification, and removal, underground storage tank removal and hazardous material inventory and abatement.

The new facility could well become the crown jewel in the complete facility makeover currently underway in the Dayton School System.
